Carol A. Francis remembers Loren...I dated Lorny the summer of 1964 thinking he was my age until we had several
dates and he fessed-up. I asked him where he was going to school next year and he said "Riley County." That told me he was a year younger than I. Lorny made me
laugh and his sweetness, kindness and love for his mom were evident throughout his life. Here it is many years later and I have not forgotten Lorny nor will I ever.
Monita is looking for information about her cousin...
I have just started searching for any information about my cousin Loren. My aunt is getting up there and she was wanting to know anything about the day he
died. He was in Vietnam at Landing Zone Ike and died June 20, 1969. Any information you have or can get would be greatly appreciated. My dad and his
dad were brothers, Daddy just died May 19, 2004. Loren's sister remarried August 20, 2004 after 20 years of being a widow. Loren and I looked alike as babies, so my aunt said we would be twins.
Susan Larson leaves a message about her sons namesake...
I didn't know Loren H. Larson. He would be close to my age. But my son, who died at age 16, November 25, 1998 was named Loren R. Larson. He had been in ROTC
in high school. Loren is not a real common name. I am sorry that our families share the name - and the grief.
